C6581 - Deluxe 5.5V 0.360Amp USB Solar Panel with USB Cable
Amazing durable silicon solar panel with glass surface is designed for convenience and performance. Solid and sturdy, this panel weight only 7 ounces and features a female USB, and output of 5.5VDC and 0.360Amp (about 2 Watts). This panel is designed for use for our Supercapacitor Racer Kit (C7411). Simply connect the provided cable to the solar panels USB port and then insert the Red(+) & Black(-) pinned connector to the charging location of the breadboard. Face panel towards Sun to start charging the Supercapacitor. You can also use this solar panel to charge traditional 1080mAH cell phones in about 3 hours in full sunlight. Simply plug your the cell phone cable (not provided) to your phone or power brick and the other end into the USB port on panel. Great for camping trips, remote areas, road trips, living off grid, prepper gear, etc.
Note: The latest phones have super capacity battery cells which are 3 or more times the size of traditional phone batteries. In this instance the phone would only be partially charged - handy if it's the only charging source you have.
Waterproof up to 1 meter, impact/drop resistant up to 2 meters. Size about 3.85" x 6.5" x 0.37" thick. Has standard USB Type A female port built in. Solar panel is sold with USB cable designed for breadboards.
