Fully assembled Geiger Counter type GM22 uses the SI-39 glass Geiger Tube. It is sensitive to Beta and Gamma rays and easily detects with clicks and flashes of red light for all types of radioactive minerals, radioactive isotopes, Radium watch hands, lantern mantles, ambient cosmic rays. Operates from one 9V battery (not included). Size of PC board is 1.3" x 4.1". Background radiation from COSMIC rays here in Arizona measured with this is about 7 to 10 counts per minutes.
