Giant metal case Geiger tube made in Russia during the Cold War. These are new unused old-stock. They operate from 285 to 335 volts and are very sensitive to beta and gamma rays. Here in Arizona, the background radiation is about 100 counts per minute. Size is about 8.5" long x 0.72" diameter.
