Nifty fuse by Bourns type MF-R185 (commonly used in car circuitry, RVs, etc) is rated 30V. This fuse trips at 3.7A and then resets automatically when the "short" is removed. Hold current is 1.85A. These really work great and are interesting to experiment with. These look like a disc cap and are about 0.4" diameter x 0.06" thick with 1" long leads. Pricing is typically about 40 cents each.
