G25454 ^+ J614 Glass Geiger Tube for Beta & Gamma Rays

Glass Geiger counter tube type J614 operates from 380 to 460 volts. The size of this tube is 0.285" dia. x 2.0" long. Requires anode resistor of 1 megohm minimum (search megohm resistor on our site), sensitive to beta and gamma, and the background radiation detected by this tube at our location is about 10 counts per minute. Note: lead connected to center of tube is (+). Brand new.
