G27241 - Super Power Cree Cluster White LED Disk 12 -20VDC
Super power 2.5" x 0.08" thick disk contains 4 sets of 4 LED clusters (16 LEDs) that emit an absolutely blinding bright white light. The LEDs are made by Cree and are very high quality. You must mount the disk to a heatsink or large metal surface. Note this disk must be used with a current limited power supply.
Here is what we determined after we mounted one to a heatsink:
12VDC current requirement 0.33Amp (4Watt)
15VDC current requirement 1Amp (15Watts)
18VDC current requirement 2Amp (36Watts)
The disk was too bright to even look at it for even a second with power applied!
Please do not attempt to operate this without a heatsink.
